Our Learning Framework: My Time, Our Place – Version 2.0

At Peak Sports and Learning, our educational programs are guided by the nationally approved My Time, Our Place – Framework for School Age Care (Version 2.0).

This framework supports children’s wellbeing, learning and development in outside school hours care, recognising the importance of play, relationships, and choice in shaping confident, capable young people.

Aligned with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and developed to complement the Early Years Learning Framework, My Time, Our Place outlines five key outcomes for children and young people:

  • Children have a strong sense of identity
  • Children are connected with and contribute to their world
  • Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
  • Children are confident and involved learners
  • Children are effective communicators

We embed these outcomes into everything we do through meaningful relationships, engaging experiences, and inclusive environments where every child feels safe, seen, and supported.

Our Goals for Children

At Peak, we aim to:

  • Provide a secure and inclusive space where children can be themselves and feel a sense of belonging
  • Foster strong, trusting relationships between children, families, and educators
  • Employ qualified and passionate educators who support children’s individual needs, interests, and learning journeys
  • Encourage positive social skills, resilience, and emotional wellbeing
  • Promote active lifestyles and lifelong learning through sport, play, and creative exploration
  • Support children to become curious, confident learners and effective communicators
  • Celebrate diversity and cultural awareness, helping children build empathy, respect, and a broader understanding of the world around them
  • Partner with parents and schools to ensure a collaborative approach to each child’s care and development

Whether children are exploring nature, playing sport, building friendships, or engaging in creative projects, our programs are thoughtfully designed to help them grow into confident, creative, and informed young people, ready to take on the world.
